2 Hour Public Sightseeing /Dolphin Cruise - Departure Location Bonita Bay

The Sweetwater 2 hour sightseeing tour is spent aboard one of our United States Coast Guard inspected 40ft or 34ft fully covered commercial pontoons and is a fun-filled day observing the wildlife and natural beauty of Estero Bay, along with its history.  The tour is run by one of our veteran USCG Licensed Captains, who bring a wealth of knowledge about the area as they average over 25 years of experience on our area waterways.  Estero Bay is an estuary that covers roughly 15 square miles, has four passes into the Gulf of Mexico and two freshwater rivers that flow into it.  In 1966 Estero Bay was designated at the state’s first aquatic preserve and is home to world famous Mound Key. The abundant wildlife that we see depending on conditions and seasons, includes dolphins, manatees and sea turtles.  We are blessed to have dozens of aquatic birds call Estero Bay home and we commonly see eagles, osprey, herons, ibis, roseate spoonbills, migratory white pelicans and their year round cousin, the brown pelican among others.
